How Presidential Assassinations Changed U.S. Politics

The U.S is considered to be one of the nations that are really democracies, but for it to reach there it went through what many African nations are going through,  and let me take you through how Four U.S. presidents were assassinated while in the office – something common is all was brought down by gunfire. But each of these presidential assassinations helped usher in a wave and transformation of important reforms and a new political era.

  2. James A. Garfield’s death changed the system of political patronage.
  3. William McKinley’s assassination created the Secret Service.
  4. John F. Kennedy’s assassination helped usher in the civil rights era.
